Equans is looking for a HR Compliance Administrator to join our team in Newcastle upon Tyne on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary of up to £22,000 per annum dependant on experience, and company benefits package.
As HR Compliance Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining effective procedures and processes to ensure compliance activities are completed and reported in line with agreed SLAs.
This is a varied role, where you will manage compliance, pre-employment checks and renewals for a wide variety of contracts, including critical government and local authority services, as well as contributing to exciting, new projects to drive improvements and efficiencies.

As a member of our Shared Services team, you will have the ability to work flexibly from our brand-new office space at the Quorum Business Park for 2 days each week, with 3 days at home. What will you deliver?
- Monitor all compliance activities such as Right to Work in the UK; Fixed Term Contracts; Disclosure Checks; Safeguarding Children Checks; Returned Contracts; Probation Checks; References; British Standard Security Vetting Checks; Post Offer Health Assessment Monitoring; signed policies.
- Manage personal files and documentation requests including those relating to Subject Access Requests and data protection queries.
- Provide advice to managers and employees on all compliance queries including Data Protection and other EQUANS policy interpretation where it relates to HR Administration compliance.
- Provide regular Management Information reports to the HR community on compliance activities, auditing data and highlighting when renewals are needed.
- Support with a wide range of benefits administration including Long Service Awards; Fuel Cards; Childcare Vouchers; Private Health Insurance; and Flexible Benefits such as Holiday Purchase; Cycle to Work; Critical Illness Cover; Dental Cover; and Private Medical Insurance.
- Work with Employee Services Team Leads to ensure appropriate audit controls are in place, meeting INCOME and EQUANS standards.
- Ensure all process documentation and process maps are up to date.
- Support and identify opportunities for process improvements and knowledge sharing with the team.
- Deliver agreed improvement initiatives as and when required.
- Provide high standards of customer service, consistent with Service Level Agreements and operational compliance.

- Experience in a similar role would be desirable, but not neccessary.
This role includes a Basic DBS check therefore ability to pass is essential.
